Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain and marvel King Herod’s desert fortress-palace and the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots against Roman domination in 73CE. At this point we will collect our bikes and cycle along the Pratzim and Heimar dry rivers near Mt Sodom. Time and weather permitting, you may float on the Dead Sea.

| |  | Sunday - Jordan valleyDepart from Jerusalem and drive north along the Jordan Valley. We will meet our bikes at the entrance to the David Creek, cycle towards the “Sachne” hot springs and pools and relax at this beautiful nature reserve. Continue to the ancient city of Beth Shean, one of the largest archaeological parks in Israel. From here, we will drive to Tiberias, the Sea of Galilee and arrive at the beautiful historic town of Rosh Pina (“Corner Stone”) to enjoy fantastic spa facilities.

|  | Monday - GolanDrive to Safed, the center of Jewish mystics with historic synagogues and modern artists’ quarter. After the tour we will meet our bikes and cycle along the Dishon Creek, one of the most beautiful creeks of the upper Galilee. We will end the ride with a lovely picnic lunch in nature. In the afternoon we will continue to the Golan Heights, mount our jeeps and drive along dirt roads following the trail of the IDF troops who fought here during the 6 Day War. We will see former Syrian army bunkers and the abandoned city of Kunitra. The tour will also take us to the new Israeli town of Katzrin. Return to your spa hotel in Rosh Pina.

|  | Tuesday - GalileeToday we leave the Galilee. We travel along the Mediterranean coast to the Jezreel Valley and lower Carmel mountain range to meet our bikes and tour along the Hashofet Creek and beautiful Yearot Menashe JNF Forest. Continue to Haifa for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Haifa Bay. Continue to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the Holy Land and explore its excavated Roman harbor, amphitheater and Crusader Fortress. End the day in Tel Aviv.

|  | Wednesday - Independence Hall Today we tour the city of Tel Aviv. We will drive to Independence Hall and relive Ben-Gurion’s moving declaration of the State. Enjoy an extremely impressive and informative overview of the achievements of the Palmach at the newly opened multi-media exposition at the Palmach Museum. Stroll down Sheinken Street, the Greenwich of Tel Aviv, and the open-air Shuk Hacarmel market. We return to our hotel for the remainder of the day to relax or bike along the Hayarkon Park and famous Tel Aviv seaside promenade, a nice 10 mile ride of green parks, sandy beaches and blue waters.
